I was just on the AT a few days ago doing a section hike and pitched my tent outside a shelter. I was reading on the grass when a bunch of thru hikers showed up and pitched their tents as well. Then:

Given, these guys were great hikers, but holy shit they may have been the most insufferable group of people I've ever been around. I packed my shit at like five a.m. so I wouldn't have to hike near them
