For starts, inheritance depends both on the parents and the parents other relatives (regression to the mean). The white child might well be more intelligent than the mixed child since white average is higher than native average. Then again, the child is half white by the father. There's probably some statistical way to predict which one will be more intelligent... but genetics are actually not that simple. Basically, hard to tell.
As for other factors, being a half blood might take a toll on social prospects (more so in the 1800s than now), but so does being ugly (probably less so in the 1800s than now). There's also the issue of identity, especially if there is some sort of conflict between the two groups... depends on the groups then. Also, the issue of cultural dissonance between the parents, which might hurt their marriage and general family life... then again, whites aren't currently doign well on that. Daddys waifu might make a better mother than some white lower class slag. Depends on the circumstances of course.
Also, assigning different value to your children is both immoral and silly.
