Yes, OP. Summer heat sucks for everything. I usually get up when it still looks like Silent Hill outside and go hiking or jogging. I like taking pics at that time too, you can get some really neat stuff.

Yes, most of the time I went out at 12 am- 3am with some friends and hike towards the peak, we'll set up camp and cook something to eat while waiting for sunrise.

Couple of picture later we all go down & go back home.

This. The fact that anywhere on earth gets hotter than 23C is proof that Satan exists. I've seriously considered doing some kind of reverse snowbird thing where I head up to Nunavut or Greenland for the summer and then head south once it cools down. That or I could just be nocturnal.

I've had to start since I started taking my (it's really my gfs doggo but I've been around since he was a soft little pupper and I love him) because he can't really handle anything over 15 celsius that good ubless we have water streams to cool him off in.

Sucks, I hate early mornings.

Anybody got any good tips for that besides the obvious?

I usually start my hikes in the mornings. I usually finish them in the early afternoon. I rarely am on the trail past 2 or 3.

Nah, I'm not a morning person. I'll go do hikes at 3am. Finish work at 1, go to the trail with my pack. Smoke a fat bowl, slap on my headlamp and knee brace, off I go.
