I feel bad for derailing the thread with my sob story but I must say writing that thing here actually made me feel better. I never really spoke to anyone about it and kind of shut it all inside me and this was the first time I told the whole story anonymously.
This is even more off-topic, but I feel like I owe it to you guys (and gals).I actually built up my courage and asked a nice girl I met at the movie theater (she works there) out couple of days ago. This was hard for me because I have had a lot of difficulty having any close relations with people but so far we've been on two dates and everything is going good. She seems like a really sweet girl and I think I'm willing to give it a shot, even if the fear of ever losing a loved one again is still bugging me a bit.
