Hey /out/. Could you recommend me a good pair of boots for hiking/hunting/general /out/ activities?

I buy a pair of boots probably once every 3 months at least, and usually by then I've worn the hell out of them. I buy them mostly from Big 5 sporting goods for cheap because I go through them so quickly.

I live in central Washington (Longview) so the forests around here are usually wet and muddy.

Also, should I wear my boots snug and fitting, or a bit loose?
