>>1068466Well I meant to say that right now I dont go out to do stuff other than going to the bank, workshops (I buy and sell construction machinery. So I am seldom inside buildings or offices. Most of the time I am either home or at the yard, the latter is huge and theres like three adult dogs there (rot and dobermans).what I mean with not going out 90% of the time is that I dont go out to bars or parties or any of that. I simply dont socialize like that. And thought this could be good for a dog since I can give him my attention full time.
I must remark that this life will end in 4 months and will change. I still wont be "going out" (friends and lots of people) but I will be living in a cattle ranch where a dog will be able to roam in thousands of acres and live among other animals. Specially cattle.
>never trained one beforeWell Ive seen these videos where dogs help ranchers move cattle around and even get them inside trailers.
Thisbis where ive got no idea on how to train them for that. Never done it before.
I use to have a cat. She lived for 16 years and never liked getting on a vehicle.
>>1068563And thank you both for saying your thoughts. If this is a dog por a person who has lots of friends and spends his days in a gym or training outside for the marathons most of the day. Aye, this dog isnt for me.
And I can get a blue heeler pretty easily. Dogs are always for sale. Specially blue heelers. My state market is mostly cattle ranches. And Blue heeler is their dog of choice. Theres always blue heelers for sale. Even with pedigree. I dont live in the US though. Things work a little different here when it cones to buying a dog. Hell I may even get a mixed dog or a Streeter breed.
Also, where can I read more about training a dog? Google always gives me the same results.
