>These still evaporateUnless the seal is damaged there's no way. Plastic and rubber are not absolutely gas proof, but the amount of gas escaping through the seal is nothing to be worried about.
If left inside a hot car one can argue that increased pressure forces the gas to escape through the seal, however the volume of the capsule is so tiny, that the pressure increases hardly at all.
Like with many seals/gaskets, the right amount of tightness is essential. Overtightening this lighter can make it less gasproof in the long run as it will deform and ruin the seal permanently. Luckily it can be easily replaced.
Problems with this lighter are it's 'made in china' construction, tiny amount of fuel and the fact that the top of the lighter can accidentally come off - that kinda sucks in a survival situation.
