It was actually fleas, carried by rats and mice. Rats were the more successful of the two, so they get most of the blame.

Caught 2 babies last year just wandering the house, they were too young to know fear. One died of exhaustion. The other did quite well so I kept till he grew up then I released him. I named him Mr. Mousekewitz.

OP, you should release him ASAP a few miles from your home. They're wild animals and don't like being kept. However if you don't think they'll survive for some reason then I recommend you give it some place to hid like a empty cardboard tube of toilet paper or torn up newspaper. If they can't hide then they'll end up dieing trying to run away. And release it as soon as you think he'll live in the /out/doors.

I caught retarded young mouse that casually scampered into the room I was in, easily cornered it and put a SOLO cup on top of it because that's all I had at hand. I tried to decide if I should kill him or not and if so, how. Ended up leaving him under there for 2 days and then it started to smell so I knew he must have suffocated so then I just threw everything in the trash. Same exact thing happened a second time too and I figured it was easiest to let the same thing happen. Maybe I should feel bad, but I was lazy and couldn't think of what else to do.

i would catch them I'm glue traps and shower then with ortho poison. i wanted to give them a quick death. isnt always quick. also possible to put then in a canistrr and shake it. they fire instantly. also bb guns

I had a few of the little fuckers in my garage last year. One even chewed a hole in the used oil jug I had on the floor by the door, that made a mess.

Saw one run under my sled and into a hole in the wall. Bought a can of the spray foam insulation, filled in that hole and a few others along the garage floor.

No more mouse problem since then.
