What does /out/ carry as far as medical supplies?
As a Medi/k/ I feel like I carry way more then I need but since my pack doubles as a B.O.B. I have a bit more trauma related items then usual. I'll be posting individual items through the thread to keep conversation about outdoors medicine going.
Keep in mind I am merely a Combat Life Saver trained military member, not a full fledged Combat Medic or any such thing. I am merely trained to provide medical assistance on a squad level in the absence of actual medic MOS's.
For those of you familiar or with access to Google what I started with when building my kit was a standard issue IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) which is standard issue to individual soldiers.
