Their kids are the drug mules, cholos, etc. even though they LITERALLY got handed a good life on a silver platter built off the sweat equity of their parents.

Semi-related are the 'Ricans. I dunno what's going on with them, they come from 'MURRICA lite, not like they're "escaping" abject poverty or high(er) crime or anything. And then they intentionally move into the biggest shitholes in the US (NYC, Daytona Beach, Atlanta, Charlotte) and promptly become thugs.
