Best way is to open carry in a expensive looking leather chest holster. (pic related)
There is also a guy that makes a holster that looks like a square pouch that fits over the padded belt strap of the pack.

I went with ribzwear and carry the gun in a holster in the ribzwear. Ribzwear is great for cooler weather which is when I like to go but it's extremely warm otherwise. Feels almost like holding a puppy up against your stomach, its' warm like that.

I don't remember. It was velcro'd on one side. Pretty small time outfit I found online when trying to answer the same question as op. I remember the guy made it out of frustration in not being able to get what he wanted.

Not OP but waist belt can get in the way for hip carry which is how most of us are used to carrying.

The hip belt does actually ride a little higher than your pants belt though and something like this might be a really great idea for you. Sort of dorky looking but they have a few variations. I'm pretty sure it would lower it enough.

possibly a no-brainer, but the less you have in a bag like this, the nicer it is to carry, and they don't take a whole lot until they're heavy, attaching it to a belt of some kind does help a little, but I prefer backpacks

I've had the Jumbo versipack for a while, and although it is of amazing quality, sometimes I feel I'd be better off just carrying a backpack

Attaching a gun to a backpack isnt /out/ related, more people wear backpacks to school then they do when going into parks. Are you wanting to know how to attach a gun to a backpack so you can carry a gun into a school?

I haven't been on 4chan in over a week, I have been busy on my work rotation.

Its not just myself who dislike the constant gun and knife threads that have nothing to do with the outdoors. Attach a gun to your backpack somehow, what does that have to do with the outdoors? For all I know you could be talking about a backpack for school.
