It's politically motivated in my opinion.
But forget about politics.
The real reason why people don't want to give advice anymore is that threads die too quickly.
Threads cannot mature like they do on other boards.
Is it really worth typing out a long well thought out post when it will just expire?
Maybe you'll do it once or twice but after a while you will tire of writing the same post over and over again each time in a different thread.
It's easier to shitpost. It's all going to be gone in a week anyway.
This place moves too fast for good discussion to happen.
