Also, if you are sleeping, put up a little note by the window that says you're sleeping. I'm a paramedic. We get calls all the time for "male patient unresponsive in a vehicle" and it's usually just someone asleep. For some reason, people see someone asleep in a car, they just call 911 without checking on thag person at all. It seriously happens all the time, I've been to probably 100 of those calls over the years. Sometimes it's someone drunk, but usually it's someone who is working night shift, and has to be back into work in a few hours, so they have found a parking lot and are trying to nap in peace.
Doesn't have to be a huge note advertising that you're asleep, but jist enough so that if someone does see you sleeping, they also see a note and know you're alive. It'll also help if you're in a Wal-Mart parking lot and an employee sees you. Just write something like "working long shift, have to be back to work soon, I am sleeping". That way the employee who finds you knows you're not a vagrant.
