canvas leg holsters like mad max, a leather leg holster, gun case inside of a tent bag and lashed to the side or on top (it looks liek a tent), i've suggest you put it on the hip belt or behind your back in the little opening on a framed pack , lashed to the horizontal frames between vertical ones, i have even suggest you just put it in the damn main compartment.
