No medical background. I performed a wildlife first aid course with them a lil while ago through my colleges outdoors club (required to lead trips). They seemed alright, they gave me a systematic way of addressing an injured individual. Additionally they showed how to deal with raunchier stuff like exposed bone and unconscious individuals.
The instructors were very competent too. Overall it was worth taking but I wouldn't pay full price for a class I think. If you really want to know the stuff I learned(entry level course) you probably could have studied general first aid and then asked around about common sense when outdoors.
