Most wool flannel shirts don't fit me at all, usually the sleeves are too tight/narrow around my arms and I can't even bend my elbows. Unless I go up a couple sizes, but then it just looks terrible. Quality wise, they seem pretty decent, I own a lot of Icebreaker stuff now, all of which has held up better than other brands of merino wool stuff I have.
Icebreaker does have free returns, I think, maybe you might just give them a try.
