Why does /out/ hate campers so much? A pop up camper is basically a tent anyway. You can spend all day hiking and exploring, and then at night you get to sleep comfortably with an AC or heater. Why are people so obsessed with where someone sleeps? If anything you would want to be off the ground where it's safer and there are no tics, snakes, etc. The whole point of /out/ is to enjoy the outdoors while you're awake. When camping you can still sit by the fire at night and converse before bed, enjoy the stars for a bit, etc. so why all the hate?
