get a silk one for travelling, put your passport and money inside and no one will ever pickpocket those 2 essential things, otherwise kinda useless if you have a backpack.

I use one and it’s fucking fantastic.

I workout a lot and as such I find myself constantly wearing workout shorts which made it a hassle to carry my things. Now that I switched, it’s so easy. All my stuff is in the same order with ease of access, regardless of what I’m wearing. That lets me carry all my things consistently all the time. It’s pretty comfy too.

I carry:
Knife
Flash light
Multi-tool
Small pistol
Spare mag
Wallet
Sunglasses/reading glasses (using wearing one or the other)
Ear plugs (not for pistol but I’ve lost significant hearing already and I’m doing my best to prevent further hearing loss)
And a lighter

All my friends and family give me shit but I don’t care. I’m not self conscious about what I wear. I wear what’s comfortable and useful and a waist pack is definitely useful.

Oh, and it’s about 2L in capacity and I find it to be just big enough to carry everything without going overboard in size.

We've had this thread before. My "oh shit" bag is a fanny pack with first aid and other stuff. It usually lives in a camelback or any other backpack. However on shorter walks I'll throw it around my waist. They are a handy natural size of bag.
