I live in North East Florida. First time I've ever had to deal with Bobcats. I use to live further south, so usually the worst I'd deal with were snakes and alligators. Which never really concerned me. However, after the recent hurricane there has been a huge influx of shitty squirrels and large rats in my neighborhood. Which of course has attracted predators. Mainly a fully grown 30-40lb Bobcat which as of today I have caught hunting squirrels in my backyard. Normally I would welcome it. However, I have an old shitty small dog (Bichon Frise) and I'm concerned about the cat changing its diet.
