Lads,

After moving to NYC this year, I've only been able to go /out/ once, on Breakneck Ridge for a hike that was decent, but jam packed with tourists. They're shutting down a lot of metronorth trails all next year to repair from overuse, and I don't have car access. Further, most places don't seem to have camping, or just have the family tour sites for carfags.

I'm still totally new to the East Coast, please tell me there's more to /out/ up here than this. I just want to hike some solid miles past to plebs and have a comfy /out/.
