For any aspiring meme historians
There was a bit of a trend on /fit/ a few years back that went alongside fit girl threads, high testosterone girl threads, or high test threads
High test girls were named such because they are supposedly lusted after by high testosterone alpha males due to their more "fertile" appearance, wide hips, body fat >25%, large breasts etc...
The theory being that males with higher than average testosterone levels would be drawn to them because of their apparent fertility, such as it would result in strong sons
So yes, high test girls for high test alpha males
Naturally many of the girls posted had attractive behinds, and some anons even tried to redefine the meme to meaning slimmer women with wide hips and breathtaking hineys, however the htam meme just wouldn't quit
I'm not saying that the only reason why anyone likes ass is because of some /fit/ meme, however the htam memespam reached some sort of critical mass, often threads were just devoted to ass and ass alone
And one day someone thought they would play a little trick on an htam thread by posting

Naturally this is hysterically funny, I suspect it was the femanons of /fit/ who laughed the hardest though, implying that anon's fetish is farts instead of ass is quite hilarious, and it came at a time when many were getting sick of the thinly veiled and thoroughly spammed ass threads
Bottom line is that it resonated with the board, and from there, naturally it became the hot new meme, and then spread to other boards where nobody had the context to actually appreciate why it was even funny
So as with just about everything on 4chan it ended up on /tv/ and /v/, where it was warped and twisted into something quite grotesque, for example the brap sniiiffffff pasta is from /tv/
