Hey /out/, Kinda new to this board but I think I have lurked long enough to make a thread. Anyways I was wondering what are some way one could get a job with the NFS/NPS prior to completing college or even afterward. I am currently going to begin volunteering but I live in LA and there are not a lot of options for people who are into forestry or the outdoors out of a handful of volunteer organizations. Is there somethin I Am missing or should I just move once I graduate, outside of this volunteer programs I would like to start getting my foot in the door.

Also does anyone know good places to camp out near portland? I am going to be there for a week
