>>1127649>I camp comfortably year round with simple single skin sheltersReally? Is that pic related? How does it hold up in wind and rain? I can't help but feel I'd just get soaked.
>trekkertentAw man thanks for this gem, never heard of these guys before but I think it's exactly what I'm after. The Stealth 2 looks fantastic and really good value, what's your experience with the Stealth 1 in wind and rain etc.? How do you think it would compare to the MSR Flylite?
>>1127724>Do you really need a 4-season tent? Are you really expecting 6"+ of snow on a regular basis?I mean I guess not, a 3-season should probably be fine and that'll still mean I can camp on snow in good conditions right?
>did you just over-estimate or is there weight elsewhere we're not accounting for?I guess I slightly overestimated but my tent seems to be the main thing in need of replacing. Is there anything I could simply do without? Also how much water should you be carrying at once? I usually have 1l in the bladder for the day and 750ml in the bottle for dinner.
