I'm talking 40 minutes on a utility road and then another 15 minutes on a highway to the nearest city of ~1k people. Wasn't even farmland, it was old lumber land. My parents have been going through for about 5 years now clearing out brush and cutting down trees. Environmentally concious so it takes a lot longer than just clear cutting. They own 68 acres and are about halfway done have a few dozen cow, like 500 chickens, four acres of tobacco and two acres of apples, peaches, pears and plums.
