Long story short I'm putting together a [Non-Permanent] deck/porch outside. I want to hang a tarp over this spot so I can stay dry when smoking on rainy days.

There's some hooks along the edge of the roof and 11ft directly across from the apartment is a chain link fence. I have some paracord laying around that I can use to secure the tarp to the house and to the fence, but I'm shitty with knots.

What would be a good knot that will hold tight even on windy days and that wont allow much slack? I know you guys are good with this kind of stuff, so if you have any suggestions let me know.
