>>1132010>trashMost people I've met throw it on the ground, I prefer to carry it with my and dispose of it properly.
>animalsNever have bothered me. I don't think they are really an issue, but it might have been the area I was in.
>humansTreat them normally and they usually return the sentiment, as long as you don't give them any reason not to. The other bums I've met have all been quite nice.
>>1132011Personally it depended on where I was staying. There were places where people would wander up thinking it was open, notice it isn't, and leave. I wouldn't leave my things there. There were places where nobody went but was easily accessible, I would be hesitant to leave my things there. Then there were places that absolutely nobody went nor had any reason to go to, where I'd leave my stuff indefinitely.
Personal examples:
>Behind a building on the edge of a cityToo many people, stupid idea to leave camp up. That said, I would pack everything up every day and leave the bags I didn't want with me in a bush, out of view.
>Woods outside a small townNo worries about people, leave stuff but take food
>Partially cleared lot by highway, hidden and hard to get to with no animal activityLeave everything, cover it with a tarp in case of rain
It took me longer than I'd like to admit to learn that I could just pack everything up and hide the bags instead of carrying them around all day. It made things much easier.
