Same as in summer, but with warmer gear. I find that -40 below zero sucks quite a bit without extra heating inside the tent, but it must be vented. Outside in the air, I wear a muffler wrapped 2-3 times around my face. This aids in warming up the air before I breath it in. Otherwise, breathing -40 air hurts.

Never did it again. Especially walking back out with a pulled groin. Every step you take sinks you into the snow and pulls it more.

But i legit have an issue. Had to see multiple doctors and have stupid tests done. Had allergic reactions bad enough that my body went numb and i collapsed and couldn't get back up.
I'm a meat and veggies only guy now.
