A lowboy hauler permiting an excavator or yarder is going for 150ish thousand pounds of gross weight. That's truck and trailer included. Sorry, but I drive truck and have to correct you a bit there.
Having said that, it's not gonna matter if you get in a head on with them if they're pulling 140k or 70k lbs worth of logs.
I agree that's a shitty place for a cairn, assuming it's meant to actually mark something off the road. You know it's gonna get run over by some crewbus at 330 in the morning.
