I have found a fire pit in one cave most likely made by another hiker but that's as far as it goes for humans
I find traces of bear claws on the rocky walls more than once though. There haven't been bears in those mountains for some thousands years now and I always wondered what those cuts where. Then someday I visited a known cave in the region with the same cuts and the guide explained to us what those were, left here at the dawn of time
It is very possible I or anyone else could find human traces though. Many caves here with renowned paintings, engravings or human footprints were discovered accidentaly by sheperds and a couple times by hikers. But the traces we've already found are often really deep into the rock, deeper than I'm usually willing to go with my limited equipment and experience of caving
The ground is a Swiss cheese and it has been inhabited for millenias so it's safe to assume there may be more to be discovered
