>>1131061Ok, then you might want to stick to instant mashed potatoes, couscous, instant rice & beans and 3 minute noodles Top this up with dried veggies (great if you have a dehydrator) dried champignos, instant milk powder and spices as you like, also you can bring fresh cheese since its cold and dried meat or hard sausage. small bottle of olive oil is also great, you'll dig the free fat.
on of my favorites is instant mashed potatoes with dried broccoli, milk powder alt and black pepper, add some fresh cheddar and a spoon olive oil and you have a great filling meal. instant rice and beans with some chilli powder and dried bell pepper and beef jerky slices is a close second also great with cheddar if you like it filthy.
If you need to keep things simple you also can use instant mac&cheese, trow a couple of them together in a ziplock and top it with some sausage
add lots of granola bars/snickers and some trailmix/chocolate/dried fruits and you should be good.
Also, bring lots of tea/herbal infusion and some sugar, hot beverages are a blessing when you freeze your bum off.
