I dunno what it is but it's nothing from the Psilocybe family.

Any mushroom that the stem bruises blue and has brown or purple spores will be both edible and hallucinogenic.

Nah, I'm pretty sure an infographic can cover the fundamentals so that you're safe. Obviously there are a ton of exceptions to the rules; but as long as the infographic ensures you're not picking poisonous stuff then who cares.

Found these while hiking, they grow on shredded wood that was strewn around the trail (I have no idea to what purpose). Couldn't seem to find the species in my funghi guide, although it's limited.
Anyone have any idea?

Hmm, it does have the looks of a morel. The stalk is the confusing part though, plus I couldn't seem to find the spores. Here's another picture, there was one knocked over. I'm holding it by the stalk. There were 4-5 near to eachother by the way.

Google for Helvella Crispa or Helvella Lactea, that might be it. If thats what it is: it was considered edible in the past and in some countries still is but recent research found that it contains toxins so it's generally considered inedible now. It's definitely not a morel though. My field guide already said something about people confusing morels with somewhat dangerous versions of Helvella but if you compare pictures you'll see they don't look much like eachother at all.

Look like coprinopsis of some sort, with the autodigestion at the edges. Some of them are good eating, supposedly, but they melt within hours of picking them. Some varieties are said to be mildly poisonous.
Found these back in september. Ended up picking a few to take spore prints, but they nearly liquefied by the time I got home.

Morels are February-June normally, that's not a uniform cap, not holy enough, probably not hollow inside, not tall enough, discoloration, it's not a morel.

Those definitely look like a coprinopsis, probably coprinosis atramentaria. They're fine to eat as long as you don't mix them with alcohol (in some cases within a few days of drinking), if you do they're moderately toxic. They'll autodigest really quickly, but if you start cooking them shortly after picking, or just eat them fast enough you should be fine in that regard. I'm not a huge fan of their taste personally.

Those are inky caps , or similar. Not trippy shrooms. 99.999% of mushrooms you'll ever see won't be hallucinagenic, or worthwhile to eat anyhow unless you live in No. Cal, or Florida. Don't bother risking killing yourself because the look-a-likes to most of the mushrooms you're looking for are pretty toxic and some deadly.
