>>1134184Proprietary design = limited parts availability - maybe is ok for where you live but not for all areas of the country/world. Not to mention if you're on a road trip and shit goes wonky. I live in a bike centric town of ~90,000 people we have 10 bike shops one of which I am employed at. Our town has no Cannondale dealer. Cannondale won't sell any parts to non dealers so I continually have to tell people to travel 80+ miles or to get fucked. This also applies to Cannondale suspension hardware. If you lose or strip a bolt you're fucked. Also Cannondale is notorious for not having basic suspension hardware available once a model is discontinued. This applies to bikes that are even relatively recently discontinued. Like less than 3 years old.
Needs proprietary front hub. Limits your options if you want to get something nicer.
Only fork on the market that needs to have a "manual reset." Essentially the fork will lose travel over time and needs to be reset (every 50 hours) to achieve full travel. This 'service' is ghetto as hell and total B.S. especially after 18 years of making a product.
It's the only fork in which the stanction rides on needle bearings. Wtf?
It's an inverted design. There is a reason not many inverted designs last in the mtn world.
To much going on in one fork leg. They're cramming the spring and the damper into one leg for no good reason
It's nothing compared to a Rock Shocks Pike or Lyric or Fox 36/34 series and never will be.
