Picked up an old stihl 044 from work for $50 because the very qualified mechanics couldn't get her to run, one new spark plug later and I haven't had any problems with it in years. Thinking about picking up a smaller saw because I switched to coal for heating.

I pulled an old mcculloch out of a barn I was helping tear down. Had it for years, but never got around to working on it. Damned thing is still in decent condition, I hope to get it up and running this winter because I finally have time.
