2nd rainy day of the year here on the central california coast. had a couple nights with frost. but up to a week ago it was still 80° and crystal blue. we're spoiled.

Moving to a completely different part of my country to live with the brother and sister in-law for a while. The area they live is surrounded by snowy mountains,bush and forrests so I should be going hunting on the mountains and general /out/ stuff. Plus summer is just around the corner

Not so good, anons, not so good. Live in a beautiful part of the country with plenty of /out/ now, but I don't really know anybody and can't bear to go hiking/ camping by myself anymore. The first few times were very relaxing and peaceful and restorative, but now it is all just lonely.

weather's pretty nice. super busy with phd program, no time for /out/ except the occasional tow path run. contemplating quitting and going back to wildland firefighting next summer. (I was thinking i'd be able to to both, but that's not working out so well.).
