>>1150270>Wool programIt works perfectly fine if you get the right detergent and the manufacturer knows what he's doing. If you have one of those silly american top-loaders with agitator (seriously what the hell) you might want to not wash wool in it, or anything really.
As for washing it, wool and protein stains (like solidified pus, cumstains or whatever it is in your socks) do not mix well. The typical method to remove protein stains is enzymatic, which kills wool. Try washing it with wool detergent until it's better.
