I had longish curly hair up until two days ago, now I have pretty average looking short hair. Having long hair is such a hassle in the wilderness.

I will periodically grow a full beard and shave it depending on what I feel like (usually I shave in the summer because it's hot out). So I might be babyfaced, stubbled, or bearded at different points in the year. My hair grows very fast on my head and on my face (like an inch a month) so this doesn't take very long.

I am asian, so it usually surprises people to find that I have a pretty thick beard. When I am in the thickest of growth, people have a hard time figuring out my ethnicity, but when I shave, I am very typically asian-looking.

Full beard, looks black but up close you can see a lot of red. I try to keep it at 3mm-4mm in the summer and 6mm+ in the winter.

When taking a photo for my passport the lady working there asked if I keep my beard year round. When I explained how I keep it she suggested that I take my passport photo with only heavy stubble so that customs agents wouldn't have a hard time IDing me with or without the beard.

Cleanshaven most days, stubble when I’ve been lazy for a day or two. I can grow a decent beard but I choose not to since I personally find it uncomfortable. Hairstyle is usually pic-related though I tend to let it grow a little longer and I don’t bother using gel or pomade.
