This seems like the right thread to ask, I tried /o/, but they didn't seem to give a shit.

The 4runner is at budget, the taco is a little over. I have looked an nissan too, but every nissan in my area in my range looks like it has had a family of 12 living in it, even with low miles. These two are the best I can find. I am test driving the 4runner tomorrow, the taco is a 3 hour drive and will have to wait till Tuesday. I have driven both before, but never a 4cyl taco. I was surprised at how strong my friends v6 was in the 4runner, and the ability to run it 2wd is nice, but is the 2.7 4cyl similar or underpowered? I'm thinking a 4 banger might not be enough to get up some of the more technical shit, but thats what I thought about the v6 and my buddy doesn't seem to have any problems. I don't think I would be able to take the taco on an adequate test drive to find out its off road limits. What would /out/ choose?
