Where I grew up wasn't even one of these 'loops off a highway' developments, but it was suburbia. Most houses have MAYBE one tree in their backyard and it's a big 100 year old maple. Wine mom and New Balance dad aren't cutting parts off their one tree, if they even have it, and tearing at the lawn so their cross country running son can fingerbang his cheerleader girlfriend next to the chiminea on the back patio.
They're going to go over to 711 and buy a bundle of firewood because they probably don't have fires all that often and don't have dry wood laying around, and it's worth the price to pay when the price to pay is only like seven dollars and incurring the wrath of incels on the internet.
