when i was like 13 i tried to make a lure kinda like a fly lure but it had a weight on it instead.. it was 3 black feathers with tan thread wrapped around a jighead. the black feathers were about 1 inch long and the hook was only like half an inch but every time i cast it i got a big enough perch to use for catfish.
