>>1177552>>>Well while I am a very experienced traditional bowhunter with hundreds of animals to my credit, I will tell you I am weak at arrow tuning and getting set up. Even so, I will throw out some suggestions.
I don't know which shafts will be better for you. I like Carbon Express because they are the heaviest per inch of total weight, and a heavy arrow is a deadly arrow.
Whatever you buy will be straight enough for getting consistent that is not an issue.
You are looking for your arrows to leave the bow, make a quick recovery from the force of the shot and then fly like darts to the target. They need to stick straight in the target (not at an angle.) This helps in getting to be good and penetration on animals, no wasted energy.
The spine of the arrow, the weight of the bow, and the draw length you pull it back, are all going to have influence.
Here are some ways to make some adjustments. If your arrows are too weak (limber) you can cut them shorter and they will be stiffer...normally I go in half inches. If they are too stiff, you can add a heavier tip to the end of the arrow. This will weaken the spine.
I myself do a lot of trial and error and experimenting to find a perfect arrow for whichever bow I am shooting. Once found, easy to keep buying and making.
Whatever you pick, use one arrow, if you shooting different kinds, you will never get good. Find something that works for you and stick with it. good luck
