Is it possible to live off the grid in Australia?
There's no rivers around only dry and drought deserts..
Whenever i see off the grid videos they're mostly in forests and green hills and almost never in a dry climate.

Known a few people who do it, but its mostly a low-dependence type of affair where they tend to be miners or prospectors that just bumble around their claims, dig up something of value then live off the proceeds of that for however long it takes to get the next one. A very few go get themselves a patch of dirt up in the mountains outside of small towns, raise goats, build their own houses, make artworks, solar power, bore water and stuff- which is comparatively isolated.

Being 'off the grid' here is different to the heavily populated places like the USA or Europe where being remote is a comparative thing. For someone in the UK, that means the nearest person is 15minutes away, here it can be 10 hours.

Australia is actually quite a bit greener than most people think. There's a lot of dry forest and scrub, particularly towards the east.
