>>1166575You mean Rainbow Diversity Portland Hipster Walking Sim?
On top of how shit it is, the guy who made it forbade Pewdiepie from ever buying one of his games because "fuck fascists" (in case you were out of the loop, Pewdiepie actually started making good videos in the last year after he got called a Nazi by some deranged cat ladies and some very echoey newspapers).
>>1166556Op, if you want a sense of adventure, resourcefulness, moments of cosiness, not much talking, complete free roam and no hand holding, I reccomend Dark Souls 1. Apart from the fighting aspect, exploring the world really reminded me of hiking in England, stumbling across glens and ruins and doing a bit of exploration, plus the landscapes and nature is top notch. A very very European game, it does a good job in submersing you in Arthurian legend and landscape
Other /out/ freedom adventure games:
>Breath of the Wild(easy but fun, can spend most of the game pottering around mountains and hiking)
>Fallout New Vegas(Desert hiking and exploration, you have to eat and drink and there are mods that literally make it a survival, hunting and hiking game)
>Frost mod for Fallout 4(Another hardcore survival like Long Dark, main game is garbage)
>Modded Skyrim(Casual classic, a bit neckbeardy but a great environment and sense of exploration if you do your own thing and choose some of the great side quests)
>Upcoming Days Gone(out-y zombie game, I like the character and environment and I bike camp so I'm biased)
>Red Dead Redemption(ultimate out and story game, hunting, hiking, camping, wilderness, exploration, creepy secrets, sasquatches and cabins and horse hiking, huge amount of biomes 9/10)
>S.T.A.L.K.E.R games(goat, you've basically been to Eastern Europe after playing these with improvement mods)
>Metro 2033(urban exploration wet dream, fun and thoughtful, dripping in atmosphere)
>the Witcher(bit boring fighting and quests but gorgeous scenery and exploration)
