I’m up in Dallas, which is basically southern Oklahoma, and it’s cold. I’m trying to find a pair of winter boots that doesn’t make me look like a guy who belongs on the short bus. Any recommendations?

Other dallas guy here, any wool socks will solve your problem. It’s dry so you don’t need waterproofing and it’s not that cold. Invest in a couple of pairs of smartwool at Tyler’s or REI

In the need of some help right now.

Bought some boots for the winter, size 10.5 (was my size with a pair of dress shoes and nike runners, was basing it off of that) male, and the boot is not what I got in pic, but the red line represents where my big toe is when I have my heel all the way to the back. The fit for width is great. But the length, it's about inch or half an inch off.

Though should I return and get size 10 even if the width is alright?
