Hiking around Jacksonville

Looking for stuff to do around Jacksonville, recently moved up here and I've been mostly trekking out in GA but I haven't really looked around in my immediate vicinity, so anyone know some cool day hikes around jax?

Dunno about jax, but I can tell you that the deeper parts of Steinhatchee are pretty nice. Lots of hogs and bears though, so keep a piece on you. There are a number of cool places down here in alachua, but I never have time to go anymore due to work.

I guess it would help to mention that Steinhatchee is across the state from Jax. Just watch out for the klanners that live in town and on the fringes.
