Is there any reason whatsoever for a person who likes nature to choose to move to or visit the US over Canada?
>The only place you can be 22 miles away from a paved road in the contiguous states is a spot in the southeast corner of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.

Unitedstatians on here are really rabid about insisiting that they have wilderness, but the whole ordeal with everything but your parks being urbanized seems depressing as hell.

Not to mention that when you do want to go /out/, you have to drive to said parks (keyword being "park"). These are essentially babbys guide to nature, complete with babysitters (park rangers) and predefined hiking trails.

Only there may you actually camp without filing a request for a camping permit. Unless you're a real rebel, in which case you'll "stealth camp", that is.

Sure, you're allowed to take a handgun with you, but that only makes you a scaredy little girl and doesn't really increase the sense of being in the wild.
