hypothermia

No.1170483 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
I'm trying to help a disabled woman living in a field, who currently has hypothermia. I know nothing about /out/ living and am looking for suggestions about how to provide heat. The problem with providing heat to her is that most chemicals and even electricity cause her to have seizures. She's using uniheat shipping packs for heat right now, which seem to be made of natural materials. She can tolerate battery operated things afaik. Synthetic fibers aren't tolerable, as far as sleeping bags or tents go. I know that doesn't leave many options, but does anyone have ideas about what could work?
