Unfortunately people seem to want to use and treat YouTube videos more as a source of information to learn from which creates problems when, like you say, people go trying to jack trees without much of a clue. It can be good to pick things up from but in my mind it's all primarily entertainment. People actually putting their shit out there as "tutorials" or whatever is a whole other kettle of stupid though.
