I'm going to be stuck in the Netherlands for this year and I've found out there are many camping restrictions.

I've found out about "pole camping" which is pretty much the only way you can camp in actuals woods in the Netherlands, but the nearest one is near a refugee shelter and that doesnt sound like a good idea.

I grew up in the Netherlands, moved to France, now I'm back here both to help my parents moving and because an uncle offered me a job whilst im there.

I sound dutch so that won't work.

That's why I moved to Finland.

You can camp quite cheaply at Scouting lands, There are Scout camping sites called "Labelterrein", most of them are in the woods with fireplaces etc.

I'd probably kill myself if I had to stay in Netherlands for more than few months. That country looks boring as hell and I am sure it's among bottom 5 countries in the world for /out/ing. No idea what I'd be doing there with myself whole day

Nah I got drunk the other day and depressed about leaving the best country on Earth to the second caliphate where BB guns are banned, so I put it in my mouth and pulled the trigger with just the one bullet.

For anything that involves avoiding pavement? Not that great honestly. Germany is close and Belgium still has some decent spots in the Ardennes, but realistically I'd just cash in my euros for dollars and move back to the US as fast as possible if I were you.

While it does take you through some of the more "rural" places in the country, even Dutch countryside is overpopulated as fuck. If you don't mind 500km of fields sprinkled with copses of trees that are supposed to pass for forest, that's your best bet.

I have been here now for half a year and I'm in Rovaniemi, Lapland. I came for the nature, less people and the people are more mellow and not rushed like in the Netherlands.

Forestry enough here. There is a trainstation here that's filled with logs. I have never seen so many cut trees together. It doesn't end.
