Haix KSK 3000, posted them a few threads back, now with some more experience
(+)very sturdy, plus thick leather and no overly intricate design, after a year of quite some abuse (rocky terrain) I see no significant damage yet, I do regularly cream them though
(+)best grip on the soles I ever had
(+)no excessive sweating in summer, no freezing in winter, then again it rarely gets above +35 or below -10 (that's 14/95 in burger) here, don't know how they'd perform outside that range
(+)waterproof
(0)soles are 5-6cm thick - great when stepping on stones, but I'm already 1.90m so it feels a bit awkward and there's an increased chance of bumping my head on doors
(0)take ages to break in, but now fit like gloves, never got any blisters or so but then again I'm not too prone to that generally
(-)Quite expensive (€200), one size bigger and they would've been €270 even.
(-)Somewhat heavy (bit over 2 kilos/5pounds the pair), not much of an issue personally though
(-)Outer sole is a bit soft so I've already walked it down quite a bit, but can apparently be resoled affordably by the manufacturer if need be
Overall breddy content, now that they're broken in I also use them more and more for stuff like gardening, walking dogs, or generally through snow
>>1178530Had them too some years ago but not for too long (feet still grew a bit so they ended up too small eventually), and almost every 2nd person I know has a pair here in Yurop - they're quite decent for lighter hikes (on-trail) and general autumn/winter weather wear (lightweight, easy to break in, somewhat water-repellant), but IMO not that durable for the price (€160-ish)
