Not Craigslist but gumtree (UK equviliant)

Got a brand new montane extreme smock for £40. (rrp £150)

Got a vango tent for £80 (rrp £220)

I periodically search for key brands as there are deals to be had. Usually search.. Montane, rab, mountain equipment, patagonia, arcteryx, mammut, swanndri, filson, orvis.

Sometimes I'll search for gear, typically axes, too but no luck yet.

Used to be some guys on quads who used to knock off outdoor shops around xmas time who used to sell their stolen goods really cheap, got two berghaus top of the range alpine jackets for £180. I always thought their gear was chinese fakes but I couldn't fault the jackets except the band tags had been cut out of them, when they arrived the coats didn't look knock off at all I realised the deal when I saw on the news two men died on the railway lines by an unscheduled train and such bargains were never to be seen again.
